Dear parents,

Thanks to all of you who supported us at the feis this week. The choirs and Primary Two classes performed wonderfully and our trophy cabinet is now holding a host of new prizes. We are very proud of our children and appreciative of the parental support. I thank Mrs Noonan & Mr Clarke for their work with our two choirs. I also extend my appreciation to Miss Rocks, Miss Savage and their P2 teams for their great work. Our children are very lucky!

Thank you also to the huge number of parents/ family members who came to the P4 Holy Communion gathering on Wednesday afternoon. We really appreciated the effort you invested into making yourselves available. I am confident that we will have a wonderful sacrament with this year group. Parental involvement makes it so meaningful.

Big events for next week:

On Tuesday 30^th April, Primary 5 pupils will be singing in Newry Cathedral at 11.30 AM. It will be a truly joyous occasion and I invite family and friends to attend.

On Thursday 2^nd May @2pm May Miss Duffy's choral speakers will perform in Canal Court Hotel. We wish them good luck and hope to see lots of parents in the audience.

On Thursday 2nd May @ 7.30 pm Miss Duffy and her P6/7 drama group will perform the beautiful play "The Little Matchstick Girl" in Newry City Hall. All are welcome to join us.

I thank Miss Duffy for affording the pupils these lovely opportunities and I know that the children will have a wonderful time.

On Friday 3^rd May the school council is organising a crazy hair/non- uniform day with proceeds going toward their charity fundraising programme.
