As we move into Spring there have been lots of changes in the environment around us and the children have enjoyed exploring in the outdoors and noticing what is different. In particular they have enjoyed collecting and sorting natural items in the forest and meadow and have seen that there are now lots more colourful items for them to collect. Alongside this the children have continued to develop their skills of building and in the Outdoor Construction area they have focused on creating ‘Things that Move’. Here we have observed lots of ‘tracks’ for vehicles to travel along and the children have predicted what they thing will happen before testing their idea.
