April in Mrs Kearney's Class

We have had another fantastic month in Primary 1. The children have really enjoyed a wide range of Play-Based Learning activities both indoors and outdoors. We have continued developing our phonics, with many children now beginning to write simple sentences on their own.

In Numeracy, we have been learning about teen numbers and exploring the concepts of more and less. The children are also thoroughly enjoying our new gymnastics block in PE with Coach Joe.

We had lots of Easter fun taking part in an Easter Egg Hunt and creating some wonderful Easter-themed art.
