On Wednesday 21 January Primary 5, 6 and 7 attended the Catholic Schools' Week Celebration 'Sing Praise’ in Newry Cathedral with Archbishop Eamon Martin leading the service. Many schools from across the Diocese of Dromore were in attendance.
Our school choir collaborated with the choir from St Ronan's PS Newry under the direction of Mr Clarke and Mrs McKenna, to lead the congregation in song throughout the service.
Oscar (P7) brought up our school crest at the start of the service while Max (P7), Emma, Martha (P6), Katy (P7), Sophie and Niamh (P6) read and sang the liturgy.
As always, we were so proud of our pupils for their reverence and exemplary behaviour.
It was a celebration of prayer and song led by all our Primary and Post Primary schools.
