Day of Prayer and Reflection for Gaza

Archbishop Eamon Martin invites all parishes, homes and communities across Ireland to set aside Sunday 24 August as a day of prayer, reflection and hope for the people of Gaza and for a just and lasting peace in the Middle East.

1. Light a candle
2. Spend time in prayer or before the Blessed Sacrament
3. Pray the Rosary, Attend Mass
4. Make a small sacrifice or penance
5. Advocate for justice and peace

Let us not be silent.
Let us not look away.
Let us pray, act, and hope for peace.
Let the light of hope shine from Ireland to Gaza.
