On Monday 1 December we coloured in decorations for our class Christmas tree. We each placed our decorations on the tree and they looked beautiful. We enjoyed Christmas art and our Advent Calendar.
Wednesday 3 December we enjoyed school Christmas dinner. Thank you to the kitchen staff for their wonderful effort.
In literacy we learned the sounds, f and r.
In Numeracy we were introduced to the numbers, 7 and 8.
We took part in the Santa Fun Run of Friday 5 December.
On Friday 12 December Mrs Claus came to visit us in St Clare’s Abbey. She read a story and sang songs while we danced.
Adults and children enjoyed Primary 3 & Primary 7 Christmas performances.
Santa and his Elf came to visit all of the children on Wednesday 17 December. We enjoyed our class Christmas party on Thursday and said goodbye to our school principal Mrs Monaghan on Friday 19 December.
The adults in Mrs Mc Parland’s class wish all our children and their families happiness, peace, hope and love over the Christmas holidays.
