December observations

The Eco council have been in St Francis’ garden to observe the plants and animals there.

We reflected on the past months and how the garden has changed. We checked for mini beasts under logs and in the grass. We observed the pond for any frogs or water boatmen.

We found very little, most of our trees are deciduous and have lost their leaves. 

Some are evergreen and have kept their leaves, like our Holly and Pine trees. 

We took photos to track the Garden’s annual growth pattern.
