Environmental Youth Speech Competition.

18th Feb 2026

One of our wonderfully talented Primary 6 pupils has amazed us all with her creativity, passion, and commitment during this year’s Environmental Youth Speech Competition. We held an in house competition to see who would be our entrant.
She didn’t just write an inspiring and heartfelt speech about the vital role of pollinators, she found a truly imaginative way to help others see the journey of a bee. To bring her message to life, she designed and crafted her very own “Jeff‑Bee” puppet, complete with cheerful stripes and characterful wings. Alongside Jeff‑Bee, she showcased a collection of hand‑crocheted flowers, each beautifully made to represent the blossoms bees visit every day. As she delivered her speech, Jeff‑Bee “travelled” from one crocheted flower to another, helping everyone understand how bees support our environment and why protecting pollinators matters so much. Her creativity, confidence, and dedication made her presentation unforgettable. We are incredibly proud of her hard work, originality, and passion for our planet. 🌼🐝
What an inspiring young environmentalist!
