February/March in Mrs Browne’s class
The second half of term two was filled with lots of learning and plenty of fun. We have been learning all about the Vikings, demonstrating our science, design and technology skills in building our own Viking Longships. The PSNI visited our class to remind us of the importance of staying safe and being kind online. We had plenty of fun celebrating World Book Day as well as our Irish culture on Green Day. In science, we were tasked with designing a way of landing an egg from a height in the slowest time and preventing the egg from cracking. We had to carefully consider our design and the materials we used in order to try and create as much air resistance as possible.
We ended a wonderful term with an Easter egg hunt, Bingo Bonanza and the eagerly anticipated Easter raffle.
