International Day of People with Disabilities

International Day of People with Disabilities this year is 3rd December.

Articles 2 and 23 of THE UN CONVENTION ON THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD (UNCRC) give children with disabilities a right to live a full and decent life with dignity, without discrimination.

This global event gives us a great opportunity to celebrate the achievements of people with disabilities, as well as shine a light on barriers they still face today and the role we can all play in breaking them down.
