Happy New Year from everyone in Mrs. Kearney’s P1 Class.
This month we are back at our learning journey with lots of energy after a lovely Christmas break. The children have been working hard in all areas of the Curriculum. We have been meeting new sounds and numbers in Literacy and Numeracy as well as revisiting and consolidating sounds we met before Christmas.
We have been busy during Play Based Learning exploring the Creative Classroom, Indoor Construction and The Forest. We learned all about the Feast of the Epiphany and the importance of the three kings in the story of Christmas. The children really enjoyed the ‘Bring Your Toy to School Day’ event ran by our School Council.
