Welcome to our monthly News.
Thank you to our parents & carers for helping the children settle into Primary One. Everyone is learning our daily routine, school rules and making friends.
In play based learning the children have enjoyed the creative classroom, the outdoor construction, indoor resource area and the school forest.
On our ‘Listening Walk’ we heard the wind, birds, the nursery children, a car and a lorry. We learnt that we have to walk on the footpath while in our school grounds and use the zebra crossing.
We had a visit from Mr Byrne who helped us learn breathing exercises and the zones of regulation. We know we must be in the Blue zone to learn.
We have started learning ‘sounds’ and ‘numbers’.
Sr Rosemary told us about the feast of the Guardian Angels and said a prayer with us.
