We have had another action packed term in P1. Check out our photographs to see what we’ve been up to.
We are now reading and writing lots of words in Literacy as well as learning about story settings, characters and plots. We have enjoyed building CVC words and writing sentence using all the new rules for sentence building we now know. In Numeracy we continue to learn our numbers and have been learning about time, weight and length in lots of fun ways.
There have been so many really exciting events this term in P1. We’ve had Red Day, Pancake Tuesday, World Book Day, Green Day for St Patrick, a visit from Phils Farm, a trip to Bagenals Castle and a fundraising raffle for Trocaire.
As always we continue to have the best fun learning through play. We have been engaged in all of our play areas exploring the topics of Castles and New Life in Spring.
After such a busy term I wish all my P1 children and their families a very Happy Easter.
