On Friday 17th April, Primary 2 proudly took part in the Original Composition section of Newry Feis. Over the past few weeks, the children have worked exceptionally hard in preparation for this event.
Together, the class chose a meaningful theme focused on the issue of littering in our world today and the impact it has on the environment and animals. Working collaboratively, they composed a wonderful piece with the accompaniment of instruments to represent various parts for example, tambourines to symbolise trees swaying in the breeze.
In Miss McCaughey was extremely proud of the children’s dedication and enthusiasm, which truly shone through in their performance on the day. Their hard work was clearly reflected in the fantastic composition they presented.
