September/October in Mrs Browne’s class
We have made a fantastic start to our Primary 6 year. The boys and girls have really enjoyed our weekly PE
lessons with coach Danny where they have been developing their hurling and camogie skills. This is a new sport for most of the pupils and I am really impressed with how well they progressed in such a short space of time. No doubt there are some potential hurling and camogie stars amongst them!
To celebrate Maths week we participated in lots of fun and engaging activities and challenges. We were lucky to take part in two live online sessions. Firstly we joined an Izak 9 session where we worked together to apply lots of our mathematical knowledge. We then worked with Dream Space to code a virtual Microbit.
We ended the half term with some spooky Halloween storytelling in Bagenal’s Castle followed by our annual dress up day and disco.
