Newry Fire Service visit P5

Our P5 pupils were so lucky to have a visit from Jamie and Ian - Newry Fire Service, who taught us all about keeping safe by avoiding dangers which might cause fires, planning a way out in the event of a fire and regular checks of smoke alarms. They also gave great advice about keeping safe during Halloween, keeping away from bonfires and using sparklers safely (pop them on a carrot and extinguish them in a bucket of water or sand).
