We made boats using different materials.

We tested out boats to see if they would float or sink.

I made my boat from card.

My boat was made from tinfoil and it floated.

The bus inspector came to visit us to talk about safety on the bus.

We are learning to measure area.

We separated the yard into different areas to play in.

We used cubes to measure each of the areas.

We counted the cubes to see which area was the biggest.

We spoke to a member of the council and shared our ideas about how we could use the different areas in the yard.
