Hygge in the Early Years Accreditation

Dear Parents,

We’re so excited to tell you that over the next year our Nursery will begin a brand new journey, as we study for the “Hygge in the Early Years Accreditation”.

Hygge is the Danish approach to life, that focuses on having a happier and more simple life. Hygge incorporates elements of warmth, cosiness and nature, so as to make the most of every day of the year. As we move through the training, we will learn about changes we can make to our learning environments, outdoor provision and daily rhythm.

As we progress with this journey, we will keep you informed of the changes we’re making. We will even share some hygge tips to help you, too! 🍂🍃🍁
