World Book Day in Mrs Cribbin's class
Thursday March 3 was the 25th anniversary of World Book day.
The message for children this year was, ‘you are a reader‘! 📕 📚
World Book Day was celebrated in Clare’s Abbey along side the Active Superhero challenge.
Pupils in our school took part in a paired reading session.
DEAR (Drop Everything and read)
This was a wonderful opportunity for the older pupils to read to our younger pupils. Our Primary one children thoroughly enjoyed their paired reading session.
Thank you to the primary 6 children who came to our classroom. You were wonderful!!!
A special “Thank you” to everyone at home who helped the children get ready this morning.
We urge children and adults to remember ;
You are a reader.

“Reading gives us somewhere to go
when we have to stay where we are.”
