On Wednesday evening ( 22nd March) I performed in a charity concert in Newry Arts Centre to raise money for one of our Shining Light Gospel Choir members. Lilli is going to Kenya in Africa to help build classrooms for boys and girls who want to go to school and be educated.
I got to wear my new gospel gown and was really lucky to have a solo part in one of our songs.
The Arts Centre was packed and everyone in the audience gave us a standing ovation at the end of the concert.
We raised a lot of money and everyone had a magnificent night.
A big shout out to Grace in P7 who is part of our choir and to Ellie, Hannah and our teacher Kathy who are all past St. Clare's Abbey Girls.
