The First Signs of Spring

Recently we have experienced some very cold and wintery weather. Last week the temperature was so cold that the pond had started to freeze over. Ice can be seen floating at the top of the pond. However, the first signs of Spring have started to appear in our school garden. Snowdrops are the first bulbs to welcome the coming of Spring. Early crocus bulbs have also started to bloom and the primrose plants are getting ready to come out. We welcome the first signs of Spring and look forward to seeing more signs of the changing seasons.
